CS Recycling managing director Craig Curtis has been elected president of the Recycling Association (RA).
He succeeds Adrian Jackson, who has stepped down after retiring from the industry.
Curtis (right in picture, with RA chief executive Simon Ellin) said he considered the position was “a great honour” and looked forward to continuing work on growing the membership, lobbying the Government and the EU, increasing networking opportunities and promoting the Quality First campaign.
Ellin said: “Craig is well-known in the recycling industry and has been an active board member for a number of years.
“As managing director of CS Recycling, he has years of experience in the recycling sector that will prove valuable as we take the RA forward.”
He thanked Jackson for his long service to the association.
CS Recycling, based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, provides cardboard, paper and polythene recycling services around the home counties, specialising in commercial recycling management.
