Skip comparison website launched

An skip comparison website has been launched by Nottinghamshire-based waste management firm UKWSL.

The website,, offers customers access to more than 300 fully licensed skip hire companies across the UK, and ensures to recycle as much waste as possible from every skip sold at an authorised recycling facility.

It is aimed at domestic skip users and builders, and allows users access to the database of local and national suppliers.

The customer will continue to deal directly with a representative right until the point when their skip is collected and taken away. operations manager Adam Imber said: “ has identified a gap in the market for customers who want peace of mind that their waste is being recycled whenever and wherever possible, as well as getting a competitive price.”

The website is run by a company which is part of UKWSL, based in Newark, which offers business waste management services.

The website follows in the footsteps of Skipscanner, launch by Senddr last year, the UK’s first online skip hire service accessed via an app.
