Tradebe has acquired Labwaste, a specialist in the collection, treatment and disposal of laboratory waste.
Based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, since 2006, Labwaste operates a unique hazardous waste transfer station, supported by a fleet of purpose-built vehicles.
The company has built up a customer base across England, Wales and Scotland, providing laboratory waste services including technical waste assessment, labelling, packaging, storage and transportation to final disposal.
Tradebe chief executive Rob Molenaar said the acquisition expanded Tradebe’s treatment, transfer and disposal network, supporting its strategic growth plans in the UK.
“This market penetration acquisition, along with the shared safety culture and customer service excellence, will see a smooth and seamless integration of Labwaste into our Tradebe family,” he said.
