Gas engine specification and maintenance services provider CooperOstlund has won three combined heat and power (CHP) contracts for anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities.
Under the deals, the company will deliver CHP servicing and maintenance provision for AD sites around the UK. They include Malaby Biogas, based in Warminster in Wiltshire, which was previously maintained in-house.
Last year, CooperOstlund carried out a complete rebuild of Malaby’s 500MWh MAN gas engine.
CooperOstlund’s contract with Ixora Energy to deliver ongoing maintenance services has been extended for five years to cover servicing, call-outs and ongoing remote monitoring.
It has also been extended to include six extra CHP engines on Ixora Energy sites across the south-west.
The company has also been awarded a six-year contract to take of full service and maintenance for Duranta’s new 5MW AD plant. Duranta has sites in the north-east around Teesside.
CooperOstlund chief executive Duncan McPherson said: “It’s fantastic that our hard work and dedication has led to new partnerships and opportunities to work with past clients.”
