MRF designed for testing

Tomra Sorting Recycling, the sensor- based sorting manufacturer, has opened its new customer centre in Mülheim-Kärlich, Germany, which stands on the site of its existing offices and test centre.

Steve Almond, UK sales engineer, said: “The centre is effectively a full-scale MRF designed specifically for testing. We can replicate pretty much any waste sorting application using full mechanical and optical sorting technologies.

“This means we can provide customers with accurate output data and waste analysis of their material. We truly are leading the way in sensor-based sorting systems and service.”
