Dennis Eagle’s RWM stand featured its Olympus Mini along with the narrow Olympus Twin Pack, which was developed in response to increased demand for more flexible recycling solutions.
The Olympus Mini brings the Olympus brand of refuse bodies into the 7.5 to 15-tonne GVW range. It combines high compaction ratios with exceptional manoeuvrability, helping to maximise payload and making it ideal for use in areas with restricted access.
With a width of 2m, it is available in capacities of six, seven or eight cubic metres for bins ranging from 80 to 1,100 litres.
It features a robust design and lightweight construction to offer the same operation as its standard- size counterpart. Other features include a continuous cycle option with optical safety barrier, configurable touchscreen display and LED lights.
Visitors could also find out more about the DennisConnect telematics system, which remotely monitors the health of vehicles in the field to help improve efficiency and minimise downtime.
If an issue develops, it transmits fault codes to Dennis Eagle’s technical support centre, giving the location of the vehicle. This allows Dennis Eagle to diagnose the fault, convert the code into a list of parts required to repair the vehicle and allocate the closest engineer with the most suitable skills for repair.
