PET dewatering system

Gradeall introduced its PET dewatering system.

The system has been designed for the separation of carbonated and still drinks from their PET bottles, working in conjunction with global drinks manufacturers and distributors.

This system can process 4 cu m per hour and allows the bulk loading of up to 2-litre size bottles. These are fed via a conveyor into a dewatering separation system. Liquids are separated from the plastics and transferred to a holding tank. The liquid can then be pumped for disposal or further treatment.

Waste PET bottles that are slit open are fed via a chute system into a horizontal GH500 Baler, which produces solid 500kg bales.
