Cheshire-based PVC Recycling has declared its best operating conditions for four years.
The PVC-U recycler has hired four workers and spent £280,000 on a shredder as it adjusts to the market recovery.
The firm attributed rising orders from existing UK customers, as well as from Russia and Europe, to a return to production levels last seen in 2007/08.
“We want to allay fears of customers who may have been let down by companies going bankrupt,” said director Ian Murray.
“The introduction of double shifts to turn waste PVC into high quality recyclate is further evidence of market confidence and stabilising conditions, which is reassuring for us and our customers.”
