Small-scale CHP supply

Saxlund International, a specialist in biomass combustion, energy from waste and bulk materials handling, will be discussing current UK waste wood biomass solutions, including opportunities for operators and investors for local, small-scale combined heat and power (CHP) plants in the 1-5MWe range, in addition to its full range of bulk materials handling solutions.

The Southampton-based company holds patents on technologies to improve feed and combustion efficiency.

It is currently collaborating with consultants, contractors and investors to deliver CHP plants, district heating, electrical production and process steam for manufacturing, using biomass combustion. These are capable of converting 6,000-80,000 tonnes a year of waste wood into renewable energy and heat from material that would otherwise be landfilled or exported.

Saxlund International will be on stand 4E31
