National Recovery Technologies (NRT) has launched a next generation platform for its SpydIR and ColorPlus optical sorters.
It incorporates the company’s proprietary In-Flight Sorting technology and continuous auto-calibration, along with new features.
The company said the shape of the units provides advanced trajectory control that virtually eliminates bounce-back of ejected objects. This should significantly improve the recovery of fibre and film, which have lower optical recovery rates than containers.
The design has a selfcontained electrical system, while the software package features an intuitive interface and powerful analytics delivered by NRT Connect.
The machines monitor activity constantly and send instant reports and messages, such as performance metrics and life expectancy of parts. In the case of a fault, the NRT service team is notified.
The plug-and-play design allows for fast startup.
