Telematics system keeps clients informed

Benfleet Scrap, a family-run metals recycler, has improved fleet visibility and customer service after deploying a Masternaut telematics system.

Fleet managers now have a realtime view of vehicles at any time. This allows customer service managers to give clients updates with precise information on time of arrival and any traffic delays.

Drivers are also becoming more customer-aware thanks to the data provided by Masternaut, which has helped the service to improve customer satisfaction. Benfleet has seen an 80% drop in complaints, with nine in 10 deliveries and collections now on time.

The scrap merchant’s drivers and fleet managers can use the software’s routing capabilities to find the quickest route from their sites in Benfleet, Laindon, Thurrock and Basildon to customers across the UK.
