Training for safer handling

Mentor will launch its manual handling course at the show, and will be running a competition on its stand for a free day’s training at its site for one visitor.

The course is designed to reduce the risk of injury and highlight the safety, practical and financial benefits of using correct handling techniques. Hard-hitting and interactive content considers unsafe behaviour, engaging delegates with ‘hands on’ exercises relevant to their own working environment.

On successful completion, participants will be equipped with the knowledge to contribute towards a safe working environment, reducing the risk of accidents, lost days and disruption.

Mentor says it is happy to advise on any operator training requirements for the waste, recycling and utilities industries, including sector-specific courses recognised by Energy and Utility Skills’ Plant for Utilities Scheme.

Mentor will be on stand 4H92- J93
